Winter Tire Install: The Tires

(c) Jeff James
Here are two of the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 tires immediately after delivery from the FedEx driver. I ordered a wheel and tire package that included four steel wheels, the tires and 20 shiny new lugnuts. The tires were mounted and balanced free of charge. The whole package (with shipping) set me back $611.65.

Why pick a tire and wheel package over just replacing the tires and keeping the same rims? It all comes down to personal choice, but I preferred the convenience of simply swapping the tires out in my garage when needed. Costs a bit more than way, but I think the ease of installation is worth it.
