Review: 2007 Toyota Sienna LE

Wednesday July 25, 2007
2007 Toyota Sienna LEWe've spent more than 1100 miles and close to a week in a 2007 Toyota Sienna LE, and came away from the experience largely impressed.

The new 3.5 liter engine provides lots of power, the ride and handling are smooth and pleasant, and the tranquil interior keeps road and wind noise to a minimum. You can even load up a Sienna with enough options, features and other accessories to make a Lexus owner jealous.

We do have some gripes, however. Forcing people to buy unwanted options just to get basic safety features is not a good move in my book, and Toyota's value proposition is a difficult argument to make these days. Why would someone buy a Toyota Sienna when a comparably equipped Hyundai Entourage or Kia Sedona--with better warranties--can be purchased for a few thousand less? Read our review to find out.
