2007 Toyota Sienna LE Road Trip: Day Three
We've arrived safely at our destination in Utah last night, and I can readily say that the Sienna handled the trip without any problems.
On the positive side, this minivan has an excess of power (thanks to the new 3.5 liter V6 engine), gets impressive gas mileage, and has a compliant ride (and quiet cabin) that help make it a perfect vehicle choice for long distance travel.
On the negative side, access to the third row of seats isn't so easy when you're loaded down with travel gear. Here's why: The second row seats fold forward to provide access to the third row, but if you have luggage or other material stowed in front of those seats you'll need to spend a few minutes rearranging your cargo to facilitate access. Our Sienna LE is the 8-passenger model that features a full-length second row, so I'd imagine access would be easier if you choose the 7-passenger seating option.
