Automotive News: Ford May Bring S-MAX to the States

Wednesday January 31, 2007
Ford S-MAXAccording to a recent news story over at Automotive News, Ford CEO Alan Mulally has been quoted saying that a number of vehicles currently sold in Europe are being considered for possible sale here in the states.

One of those vehicles is the Ford S-MAX, a 7-passenger compact minivan that has been well-received in the UK, garnering a healthy share of automotive awards and accolades, including being named the 2007 European Car of the Year.

The S-MAX is roughly the same size as the Mazda5 and the Kia Rondo, and features an impressive exterior design. Do you think bringing the S-MAX to our shores is a good idea? Sound off by clicking on the "comments" link below this post.
