Test Drive: 2007 Chevrolet Uplander LS
About.com auto reviewer Colin Hefferon recently had the chance to test-drive a new Chevrolet Uplander LS minivan, and seemed impressed with the "new for 2007" 3.9 liter 3900 V6 engine.
This new powerplant cranks out an impressive 240hp and 240 ft/lbs of torque, making it more powerful than the Uplander’s domestic rivals and competitive with the latest powerplants found in Japanese and Korean minivans.
Perhaps more importantly, Colin says that the new Uplander "...currently leads the minivan category of my personal bargain-of-the-year sweeps." At an impressively low base price of only $20,770, the Uplander LS could be one of the best minivan deals around.
