Sneak Peek: The 2007 Minivans
It happens every year: As fall approaches, auto manufacturers begin shipping out their new and improved cars while auto dealers scramble to clear old models from their inventory. Such is the case in the minivan market, with a number of new and improved minivans on the way.
The amount and significance of these changes ranges from minor tweaks -- the '07 Dodge/Chrysler minivans only offer new paint options -- to new vehicle introductions, such as the early 2007 release of the Hyundai Entourage. Most makes and models fall somewhere in between, such as the 2007 Chevy Uplander (pictured). The General's workhorse gets a significantly updated 3.9 liter V6 engine (link to photo) that rivals the best motors from the competition in power output.
I've broken the 2007 minivan preview into three installments, organized alphabetically by make. We'll get things starting by taking a look at what Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler and Dodge have to offer with their 2007 models. I'll also be updating a companion photo gallery as new installments are added.
