Thursday September 7, 2006
2007 Saturn Relay minivanGeneral Motors just announced an all-new warranty program for all of their cars and light trucks, beginning with the 2007 model year. The warranty includes 100,000-mile/5-year powertrain coverage, as well as roadside assistance and courtesy transportation in the same timeframe. It's quite an impressive update to the General's warranty program, and makes GM the only domestic automaker (as of this writing) to offer such a robust warranty and assistance program for all of their vehicles.

The specific GM minivans covered by the new program will include:

What about the Pontiac SV6? The SV6 is being discontinued at the end of the 2006 model year, and the new warranty only applies to 2007+ models.
